On Love (1) draft

Before I can proceed, I have to define what (romantic) love is. After thousands of years, philosophers and sages still failed to provide anything satisfactory. For the sake of discussion, let me defines it narrowly as a relationship between a male and a female who have affections for each other, and they do not have any family relationships.

Most people believe that love originates from the feeling of love. And scientists tell us that, the feeling of love is in fact controlled by hormones. Though we still do not know what caused our body to produce these hormones, we lost the feeling of love when our body stopped producing them after 1-3 years. If love is sustained by the feeling of love, it nevertheless ends with the absence of the hormones. Then we have to accept that love is volatile by nature.
